Commitment: We are dedicated to promoting children’s health, well-being, and educational success through strong parent, family, and community involvement. Accountability: We acknowledge our obligations. We deliver on our promises. Respect: We value our colleagues and ourselves. We expect the same high quality of effort and thought from ourselves as we do from others.

Membership is open to anyone who believes in the mission and purposes of Parent Teacher Association. Individual members may belong to any number of PTAs and pay dues in each. Every person who joins a local PTA® automatically becomes a member of both the state and national PTAs. Together we are a powerful voice for children. Character Education

Our school is proud to implement the MindUP program, an evidence-based social-emotional learning (SEL) curriculum designed to support students' mental well-being, emotional regulation, and social skills. Through engaging activities, MindUP helps children develop self-awareness, empathy, and positive relationships with others. Here’s what parents can expect:

  • Focus on Mindfulness: Students practice mindful breathing and listening exercises to help them manage emotions, reduce stress, and improve focus.
  • Brain-Focused Learning: Children are introduced to brain science in a fun way, learning how emotions and thoughts affect their behavior
  • Gratitude and Kindness Practices: The program encourages daily gratitude reflections and acts of kindness to promote a positive mindset and emotional well-being.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: MindUP equips students with strategies to handle challenges and make thoughtful choices.
  • Community Building: Lessons foster a sense of belonging and encourage students to work collaboratively with others.

MindUP is integrated throughout the school day, helping students thrive academically and emotionally. By teaching skills such as emotional regulation and mindfulness, this program provides a strong foundation for lifelong learning and resilience.

If you'd like to learn more, feel free to contact the school or explore the program further on the MindUP website.

We are excited to partner with you to support your child's growth and well-being!
